How it works

For grid-connected applications, grid stability is paramount and our master controllers with grid code support provides an additional protection for embedded power generation and storage systems. With additional import and export control over solar and BESS, our controllers ensure that we can meet utility requirements with accuracy and simplicity.

In isolated applications, advanced BESS control enables our controller to perform peak shaving in coordination with PV generation, improving the efficiency of energy use and reducing reliance on diesel gensets. When the BESS operates in grid-forming mode, the controller supports diesel-off operation by managing precharge conditions and ensuring seamless transitions between energy sources.


Advanced microgrid system topologies, particularly those that do not rely on traditional diesel generators, require precise synchronisation and coordination between distributed energy sources and the grid. Our controllers serve as the central control point, managing grid connection and coordinating solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and other renewable inputs to ensure system stability, efficient operation, and maximum use of clean energy.
